Reflective Writing

I arrived later that day so didn't actually do the brow paper wallwork.

Responding to music.

I placed my little magazine models onto the surrounding s which I felt matched the tempo, and shapes. Since my person was small, in most cases it acted as a huge city or scary place in which the person felt overwhelmed with the the chaos - the scribbled, messy, coloured lines, paint and harsh pen marks.

I was confused at first with the task, but then slowly got the idea of what we would be forming. With the brief being unclear (in my opinion) we looked for ideas of what we could create inspired by the music and wall 'graffiti'/ freed drawings of sound which were collaboratively created. With my ears turning towards Trees by Folkzoid more than the other music tracks, we formed a group. I was attracted by the upbeat vibe and rock feel of the song with a rather fast-paced tempo. At first I thought of making a perfume advert or billboard but quickly found out we were to design a set. Of which I got the idea of creating smog, having a black background which looks infinite and having the young female as the spotlight.
